SKILLWILL Students to Travel to Lugano, Fully Funded, for Plan ₿ Forum 2026

SKILLWILL students will travel to the Swiss city of Lugano with full funding to attend Plan ₿ Forum 2026. The international forum will give them the opportunity to learn about ongoing developments in technology and business, meet industry representatives, and gain international professional experience.
Students from various SKILLWILL professional diploma programs will travel to the forum. They will attend talks and discussions by international speakers, explore new technological directions, and have the chance to build professional connections.
The experience gained in Lugano will help students connect the knowledge they acquire in their studies to a real professional environment and better see which skills and competencies are in growing demand on the international labor market.
"For me, this is an opportunity to connect the knowledge I've gained in my studies with international experience. I'm especially interested in how modern technology companies operate and what approaches they use in different countries," says SKILLWILL student Lizi Kacharava.
Participation in an international forum means more to students than simply receiving new information. They will be able to meet professionals from different countries, share experiences, and discuss their own professional interests in a broader context.
"The tech field changes quickly, and it's important to constantly keep up with new trends. From the forum, I expect new ideas, professional connections, and experience that will help me in my future development," notes SKILLWILL student Giorgi Tvaradze.
The costs of travel to Lugano and participation in Plan ₿ Forum are fully covered. This allows students to gain international experience without a financial barrier, deepen their professional knowledge, and meet international industry representatives in person.
International Experience as Part of Education
The trip to Lugano is not the first international opportunity for SKILLWILL students. College students have already taken part in the World Youth Leadership Conference in Tokyo, which brought together young leaders and innovators from around the world.
In Tokyo, participants joined international discussions and practical sessions, worked alongside representatives from different backgrounds, and established new professional connections.
"Working in an international environment shows you your own abilities from a different perspective. The experience gained at such meetings gives you more confidence, new motivation, and helps you define your future professional goals more clearly," says SKILLWILL student Rusudan Bekauri.
SKILLWILL plans to continue expanding students' participation in international educational and technology projects. The college's international calendar includes:
- Plan ₿ Forum – Lugano;
- ICT Study Mobility – Switzerland;
- World AI Cannes Festival – Cannes;
- GITEX AI Mediterranean – Rome;
- London Tech Week – London.
Participation in international forums and educational projects gives students the chance to learn about industry requirements, build professional connections, and apply the knowledge they gain to their own development and studies.
"What matters most to me is gaining experience in an international professional environment and meeting the people who are shaping the modern technology field. I want to learn more about new approaches in networks and systems, apply what I learn to my own professional development, and share it with other students when I return," says SKILLWILL student Nika Karchava.
After returning from Lugano, the students will share the knowledge and experience they gained with the SKILLWILL academic community. In this way, the experience gained through international projects will not remain an achievement of the individual participants alone, but will become part of the college's shared learning environment.
By creating international opportunities, SKILLWILL helps students connect professional education with global experience, better prepare for the modern labor market, and see their career opportunities beyond the borders of Georgia.
